About Us
Welcome to TEAM BTR
|
 |
I would like to introduce you to Team Big Toyz. There is much more to the team than what everyone sees on the floor during a show. We have family and friends who offer their support and time.
There is Brad's family, Jenel, Mike, Gemma, and Tom, who take care of a lot of our business back home while we are out on the road. So we owe them a big thanks. My family has been supportive along this whole trek to becoming a monster truck driver (not quite the
vision they had for their little girl) There are also those at the shows who offer their help and services to aid us in whatever dillemma we encounter.

Name: Brad Campbell
Drives: Public Disturbance
Age: 30 Birthdate: January 24, 1978 Height: 5'9" Weight : 230
Monster Truck Timeline: Brad purchased the trucks in October 2004 and immediately got to work getting
a name for himself. He started driving in December 2004- began in the Monster Moose and then in March 2007 he hopped
into the Public Disturbance, and has been driving it ever since. In 2006 Brad won the Checkered Flag Nationals and in 2007
won the racing at the finals in Pocatello, Idaho. However before all this, Brad had always been interested in these monsters.
As he grew up he watched Bigfoot, Gravedigger, and several others, which fueled his dream to someday have a truck.
Now he gets to race with all the guys he grew up watching.

Name: Jen Campbell
Drives: Monster Moose
Age 23 Birthdate: October 17, 1984 Height: 5'10" Weight: 130
Monster Truck Timeline: Well, I met Brad in May 2006, and it's been all monster trucks since. Previously, I'd
never seen a show, T.V. or live. I never really anticipated being around them, let alone driving one, so I feel quite fortunate
to be given the chance to drive. So for the first year I watched (and videotaped) and then in March 2007 I got to jump
in the truck. Brad handed over the Moose, and after putting a new motor in the Disturbance decided I could keep his truck,
while he switched. Now, it's fun, being married and getting to run at the shows together, and both of us are pretty good at
not being too upset when one beats the other. Neither of us have slept on the couch yet.

Name: Will Strange
Age: 36 Birthdate: May 10,1971 Height: 6'4"
Monster Truck Timeline: Will entered the picture long before I did. He was building Brad's transmissions for
the monster trucks. However, Will became a more permanent and involved fixture in March 2007. He operates the ride truck,
and works back at the shop when we are out on the road. Hopefully, we will get another truck built so that Will can get in a race truck and get driving.

Name: Hulk "the Hulkster"
Age: 16 months Birthdate: November 17, 2006 Height 16" Weight: 60lbs Breed: English Bulldog
Monster Truck Timeline: Hulk joined the team on January 25th 2007 while we were hanging out at Bigfoot's shop in St. Louis.
He flew all the way from Fort Worth, Texas, and is the favorite of everyone in the monster truck world. Hulk is spoiled rotton,
chases anything with 2 wheels, and sleeps 23 of 24 hours in a day. His dashing good looks, social skills, and constant
charm definitely is what makes us keep him around.

Jason Barichio aka "Vito"
I think he has been around longer than anyone else here aside from Brad. Vito is the do anything for you
guy. He's done his share on the ride truck, driven the Moose once, and helps us with whatever we could
need. Most times he is at our shows jumping in and doing the jobs everyone hates to do-tiring up and
down, no matter the circumstances.

Honorary Team Members:
These are the guys that have helped out tons and been at plenty of shows. We condsider them team members, but they aren't with us all the time. That still doesn't make them any less appreciated.
Justin aka Russ
Russ is our tuff trucking, karaoking, clever phrase t-shirt wearing, and lady charming, teammate. He joined
the team at one of our shows in Canada when he showed up with his brother, Will, in our truck to help
out for the weekend with the ride truck. He helps out whenever he can in whatever we throw him in. For our
show up in Port Angeles, WA he even raced in the tuff truck competition to add an extra competitor, not to
mention he raced on our 75 cc dirtbike in the kid's class (which he lost).

Darron Schnell
Darron has been helpful all over the place. He has found us tires in the middle of Montana, when the
Moose lost one in North Dakota. There has been many a trip to help us out at a show. In Kalispell he even
took a turn driving the Moose, since Jen had to stay in Washington for an emergency. Darron was at our
wedding, up in Canada, Montana, Washington, and wherever else he finds the time and energy to get to.
Being part of the team adds a new dynamic and we appreciate all of his help.
